How to Change the Quiz Language

Change the Interface Language

When you change the interface language, only system elements such as navigation buttons, headers, and instructions are translated.

Steps to change the interface language:

• Navigate to your quiz settings on the ProProfs Quiz Maker dashboard.

• Go to Language. Select your preferred language from the dropdown list and click Save.

Example: If you select Spanish, the quiz buttons like Next, Submit, and Finish will appear in Spanish.

Allow Learners to Choose Quiz Language

If you want the entire quiz content to appear in different languages (questions, answer options, feedback, certificates, etc.), you need to enable the Allow learners to choose quiz language option.

Steps to enable learners to select quiz language:

• Open the quiz you want to edit, click the More option below the quiz, and select Settings.

• Scroll down to the Language section under the General Settings tab.

• Enable the toggle for Allow learners to choose quiz language.

• Click Save to apply your changes.

Once enabled, learners will see a language selection dropdown before starting the quiz. They can select their preferred language, and the entire quiz — including questions, answers, navigation, feedback, results, and certificates — will instantly appear in the chosen language.
