How to Add Images and Videos to Quiz Questions & Answers

 

With ProProfs Quiz Maker, you can create engaging quizzes by adding media, such as images and videos, to your questions and answer options. You can even add DOC, PDF, and PPT files to the questions depending on the type of quiz you’re creating.

How to Add Images, Videos, Docs, PPTs, and PDF Files to a Quiz

 

Step 1: In the quiz editor, go to a question or add a new one (if you’re creating a quiz from scratch).

Step 2: After selecting/adding the question, enable Media (1). Click the image or video icon (2) next to an answer option or the question statement to add an image/video.

Alternatively, you can access the User Media Library to upload an image to the question or answers.

 

Step 3: Here, you can do one of the following depending on your requirement:

 

  1. Add an image

  2. Add a video

  3. Upload a media file from your system

Step 3.1: Under the Images tab, you can add an image from the Library or search for and select one from Google/Pexels. Each of these is explained below.

 

  • Library: It contains a set of images provided by ProProfs Quiz Maker. Click the image you want to add to the question, and it will appear enlarged on the left, as shown in the screenshot below.

  • Google: Search for a suitable image.

  • Pexels: Select a stock image for your quiz.

Step 3.2: After you’ve selected an image you want to add, you can edit its properties (contrast, brightness, etc.) by clicking Edit Image. If you want to remove the image, click Delete.

After clicking “Edit Image,” you can do the following:

 

  • Flip or rotate the image to suit your requirements

  • Resize the image

  • Draw over the image

  • Add a watermark

  • Use a filter

  • Finetune the aesthetics

Step 4.3: Add a video from YouTube or Pexels under the Videos tab. Here’s how:

 

  • YouTube: Search YouTube videos for any keyword without leaving the quiz.

  • Pexels: Search Pexels for relevant stock videos without leaving the quiz.

Step 4.4: When you’ve added the video you want, click Done. In case you want to remove the video, click Delete.

Step 4.5: Under the Upload tab, you can upload an image, audio/video, or a document (DOC, PDF, PPT).

Let’s look in detail:

  • Image: Upload a JPEG, PNG, or GIF image of the recommended dimensions and size.

  • Audio/Video (available only for the question statement): Upload an audio/video of up to 2 GB in one of the recommended formats.

  • Document (available only for the question statement): Upload a DOC, PDF, or PPT file of up to 300 MB.

 

Click Done to add.

Step 5: You’ll eventually return to the question editing screen. Click Save to finish the process of adding multimedia to the question.
